Harold, They’re Lesbians…
For the oblivious, middle aged man in all of us. Straight from every bad analogy comparing women to fruit that you’ve ever heard.
This bath bomb is labia pink and smells like a fruit orchard. Because subtlety was never my strong point.
Quick Story: I do all my work/creation/testing/etc out of a collective art studio that I share with a handful of friends, because having humans to bounce ideas off of and make smell things is the best. When I first told my friend M that I was considering making a “Harold, they’re lesbians” bath bomb, she laughed her ass off and then screeched at me “DOOOOO IIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!” Then we had this conversation with a couple of other friends that were around (K and C)
Me: “Ok, I really want do make it, but I have NO IDEA what it should smell like”
K: “It should smell like lesbians, obviously.”
Me: “I still have no id– hey, M, what do you smell like?”
M: “SMELL ME!”
C: “It should smell like every fruit that anyone has ever tried to imply was a vulva before. So like, mango and peach and-”
M: “And Cherries.”
Me: “OK. The lesbian has spoken. I’ll get to work.”
